We are looking for a full or part time Veterinary Surgeon to join our client's busy and successful surgery based in Yeovil, south Somerset. Ideally located on the outskirts of the town centre, the practice is easily reached by car and offers free car parking, or by train providing links to Bristol, Weymouth, London and Exeter.

Key Details:

  • Full or part-time contract considered
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-19:00pm
  • Weekends: rota basis
  • Sole Charge: TBC
  • OOH: No
  • Branch Work: No
  • Computer System: RX Works 

About the Practice:
The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards with excellent facilities including digital x-ray, in house labs, ultrasound and a dental machine. It’s a dynamic first opinion practice which enjoys a mixed case load with a high percentage of insured clients.

The Person:

By joining this practice you will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and as this role plays a key part within a small, friendly team the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible. You will also have good general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery.
 
This rewarding position is full time (although part time hours will be considered for the right candidate) and will include some weekends on a rota basis and occasional on-call. Successful applicants should be confident in sole charge role and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues.

The Package:

  • Competitive salary between £30,000-£45,000 DOE or pro-rata if part-time

Must have:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 1+ years’ post-graduate experience in the United Kingdom
