An opportunity has arisen for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join our client's dynamic team. They are a happy and growing small animal surgery with an expanding client base and a developing, varied case load. The practice is located in the city and metropolitan borough of South Yorkshire, with great transport links and within easy reach of the Peak District.  

Key Details:

  • Full Time: 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-19:00pm
  • Weekends: 1:3 full weekends
  • Sole Charge: TBC
  • OOH: None
  • Branch Work: No
  • Computer System: RX Works 

About the Practice:

The Partner is a 2008 University of Edinburgh graduate who leads a supportive team of 2 other Vets, 2 Nurses, a Student Nurse, 3 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. There are development opportunities available to the right candidate, including the potential to complete a certificate.

The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including dedicated operating theatre, digital X-ray/in-house laboratory/ultrasound and dentistry facilities.

The Person:

We are looking for someone who can work a full 40 hour week with 1 in 3 full weekends on a rota basis but no OOH!
 

You will be confident in routine surgery with the excellent consultation skills necessary to build lasting client relationships. If you have a specialism that is even better. Sole charge will be required (usually at weekends).

Must have:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 1+ years’ post-graduate experience in the United Kingdom
