We are looking for a permanent veterinary surgeon to join a small group of non-corporate practices in South Norfolk. You must be competent in surgery and basic operations.

Key Details:

  • Hours: Full Time or Part Time
  • Monday to Friday: 9.00am-6.00pm
  • Weekends: 1 in 4
  • Saturday: 9.00am – 1.00pm Sunday: Closed
  • Computer System: Teleos
  • Sole charge: Yes, must be comfortable with sole charge.
  • OOH: 1 in 4

About them:

You will be joining a well-established independent group of practices in the South Norfolk area. You will be joining a hard-working team consisting of 2 vets and 8 support staff. The practices are very family orientated and allow pets in to work. The team have built up strong relationships with their clients and therefore key to being successful in this role will be your communication skills and client care abilities.

Person:

The ideal candidate will have will have good all-round veterinary skills, be fully competent in routine surgery and consultations at 1st opinion practice level. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills with a down to earth attitude. You may be expected to work across different practices, but this is to be discussed.

Facilities:

The practices are 100% small animals and  have excellent up to date facilities which include digital x-rays, ultrasounds, a inhouse lab and fully equipped operating theatres. They encourage training and CPD. There are also facilities should you want to take your dog to work.

  • Salary – Up to £55,000

Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
