Our clients in Redcar, North Yorkshire are seeking a highly motivated veterinary surgeon with a caring disposition to join their friendly practice. You will work alongside 2 other veterinary surgeons in ensuring the highest level of care is provided throughout the practice, as well as contributing to the growth of the business.

Key Details:

  • Full time 
  • Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am til 7:00pm
  • Weekends: On a weekly rota, Saturdays 8:30am til 5:00pm & Sundays 9:00am til 5:00pm
  • OOH: None
  • Sole charge: None
  • Computer system: RX Works
  • Branch Work: None
  • Team: 2 Vets, 4 Nurses, 1 Student Nurse & Support staff

About Them:

They are open 7 days a week and aim to provide the highest standard of veterinary care as possible. They have a friendly, hardworking team who all come from different back grounds, but they do all have one thing in common, their love for animals!  The practice is part of a large group who have had practices open in the UK for over 80 years, meaning you will benefit from working with an experienced team.

The Person:

You will have a real passion for the veterinary industry in general as well as caring for pets. You will bring an enthusiastic, positive vibe to the team and join them in providing excellent care to all patients and clients. Ideally you will have worked in practice(s) for a few years bringing with you good all round surgical and medical skills. A desire to be involved in the development and growth of the business is also important.

Package:

  • Salary £30,000-£45,000
  • 28 days annual leave (INC bank holidays)
  • Non-Contributory pension scheme
  • £1200 CPD Allowance per annum
  • Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS)

Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Excellent client and patient care skills
