Our client is based in Reading and is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join the busy practice on a full time basis.
 
The successful surgery has a growing client base and a fantastic reputation locally and further afield. They are fully equipped with modern technology including ultrasound, digital x-ray, blood pressure machine, and much more.
 
The team currently consists of 3 and a half Vets, 2 Nurses, 1 Student Nurse, 2 VCA’s and a fantastic Reception and support team.

The Role:

The ideal candidate will have great general/medical skills and experience of emergency surgery is essential!  You will be required to work some weekends on an equal rota basis and, therefore, must be confident with sole charge.

The Person: 

You will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and as this role plays a key part within a small, friendly team the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible. The practice has a family feel and a real presence in the community.
 
The ideal candidates to join they team will have good general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery.
 
This rewarding position is full time and will include some weekends on a rota basis but no OOH, meaning all members of staff can enjoy an excellent work/life balance. Successful applicants should be confident in an occasional sole charge role and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues.
 
The Package:

£30,000-£45,000

Must haves:

RCVS registered and qualified
Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
Excellent communication skills
Min 1+  year’s post grad UK experience
