We are looking for a permanent veterinary surgeon to join a successful 3 vet practice based in Norwich, Norfolk. This is a small animal practice that needs a team player who wants to progress their career whilst adhering to their ethos ‘Working hard to keep pets healthy and happy’.


Key Details:

  • Hours: Full Time with time off in lieu for weekends
  • Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 6.30pm
  • Weekends: 1:3
  • Saturday: 8.30am – 12.30pm Sunday: Closed
  • Computer System: Jupiter
  • Sole charge: Yes, must be comfortable with sole charge.
  • Other: They are interested in your ideas and ensure plenty of client contact during nurse clinics.


About them:

By joining this well established and successful practice, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing a superb standard of client and animal care. You will be joining a hard-working driven team made up of 2 full time vets, 3 RVNs and 5 support staff. The team have built up strong relationships with their clients and therefore key to being successful in this role will be your communication skills and client care abilities. In return they can be flexible with working hours.



The ideal candidate will have good all-round veterinary skills, be fully competent in routine surgery, possess excellent communication skills and bedside manner, and strive to deliver outstanding veterinary care and customer service. Experience in Orthopaedics would be beneficial but not essential.



This practice is 100% small animal and has excellent high spec facilities, which include endoscopy, digital x-ray, blood pressure monitors, ultrasound, in house lab and a full equipped operating theatre. They encourage CPD and can offer flexible working hours. There are also plans in the pipeline for moving to a new premise.

Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 12 months post-grad UK experience
