We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join our client's friendly team in Mapperley! They’re a busy practice which continues to grow after 10 years due to their lovely team and their focus on personal customer service.
Key Details:

  • Full Time: 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-19:00pm
  • Weekends: 1:4 rota
  • Sole Charge: TBC
  • OOH: No
  • Branch Work: No
  • Computer System: RX Works 

About the Practice:

They offer a bright, spacious, air-conditioned practice, well-equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory and separate dog, cat and rabbit wards. They also have laparoscopy equipment, allowing them the capability to perform procedures such as laparoscopic spays and cystoscopy. This ideal Nottingham location offers easy access to the Peak District as well an easy commute to London for weekend trips!

The team is extremely dedicated and hard-working and the environment is very supportive. You will join a team of 4 vets, 4 nurses, 2 student nurses and several non-clinical staff.

The Person:

We’re looking for a confident vet who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Excellent client care and pet welfare standards are their main priority, so you’ll need to share their passion for delivering this level of service.

The position is full time (40 hours per week) with weekends worked on a 1 in 4 rota basis and no OOH.

The Package:

  • Competitive salary between £30,000-£45,000 DOE or pro-rata if part-time

Must have:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 1+ years’ post-graduate experience in the United Kingdom
