We are looking for a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join this busy and successful surgery based in Kidderminster, not far from Birmingham and the Worcestershire countryside.

The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards with excellent facilities including digital x-ray, in house labs, ultrasound, and a dental machine.

It is a dynamic first opinion practice which enjoys a mixed case load with approximately a third of cases insured.

The practice owner, who qualified in 1999, opened this surgery in 2011 and he is now ready to offer clients areas of special interest, therefore the practice is particularly happy to support any specialisms you may be interested in pursuing.

The team currently consists of 4 Vets, 3 Nurses, 3 VCAs and 3 receptionists, all passionate about providing the very best care for their clients and patients.

We are looking for a full-time Vet with good medical and surgical experience, effective communication and interpersonal skills and someone who is genuinely passionate about what they do. The role will be 40 hours a week with 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis so you will need to feel comfortable working sole charge on those weekends but there will be no OOH.

As you would expect from a brilliant veterinary practice in small animal veterinary care, we offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with career development opportunities and an excellent package including competitive salary, generous CPD allowance, memberships paid, Certificate potential and exclusive company discounts.

Must haves:

RCVS registered and qualified
Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
Excellent communication skills
