Our client in Fife are currently recruiting for a veterinary surgeon to join their completely small animal practice on a permanent basis. The role is ideally full time and worked over a 4.5-day week, however they could negotiate on hours to be more part time.

Key Details:

  • Full time (4.5-day week)
  • Hours Mon-Fri: 4 days 9:00am until 7:00pm and one-half day
  • Weekends: 1 in 4 Weekends on call from Friday evening until Monday morning
  • Branch Work: Occasional shift required at branch practice
  • Sole charge: Occasional sole charge at branch practice
  • OOH: 1 night a week on call and weekend rota
  • Team: 5 Vets, 4 Nurses and 5 additional support staff
  • Other: Long weekend will be provided following on from weekend on call

About Them:

This independently family run practice in Fife who have a long-established reputation in the community. They believe prevention is better than cure and provide a full range of preventive health care for all pets. Their practice is fully equipped with all the latest modern technology including in house IDEXX system, doppler ultrasound, digital x-ray and much more.

The Person:

This role would suit a veterinary surgeon with at least 1 years post graduate experience who is comfortable with the majority of routine procedures. You must also have excellent client care and customer service skills to be able to provide an excellent service to their clients.

Package:

  • Salary: £35,000-£50,000+ depending on experience
  • 20 days annual holiday allowance plus bank holidays

  • RCVS registered and qualified
