We are looking for a permanent veterinary surgeon to join a practice near Leeds. This is a large multi vet practice in the lovely countryside of Yorkshire and is also a training practice. There is an element of sole charge involved in the role, so it is important that the vet is confident in this area. The night vet would complement a team of 10 vets and 14 nurses in total. The practice comes with all the modern facilities and equipment as one would expect and boast a variety of case load. Their practice will also be opening a new hospital next year with state-of-the-art equipment. This role would suit a vet wishing to complete a certificate or perhaps and certificate holding vet due to the nature of the cases that they see - so this is an excellent opportunity for a vet to expand on their skill set and knowledge.
- Hours: Full time Monday – Friday
- Monday to Friday: 40 Hours per week
- Weekends: 1:5 Saturday Rota
- OOH: 1:15 Weeknights
- Sole charge: Some
- Team: 10 Vet 14 RVN
- Branch work: None
This is a large multi vet and nurse training practice situated in the heart of Yorkshire. The practice boasts state of the art equipment along with a varied case load with a busy and loyal client base. Situated in the outskirts of Leeds this practice offers both country and city life living.
The ideal candidate will be confident in all routine surgeries. You must be confident in sole charge work. An interest to work towards a certificate of a certificate holding veterinary surgeon would be advantageous but not essential.
The practice is very well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, CT, endoscopy, in-house lab, laparoscopy, digital radiography, consultation rooms, theatres and wards.
