We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive and expanding small animal practice based in Colne, Lancashire. Our client is looking to appoint a Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent full or part-time contract to help manage an interesting and varied caseload in an RCVS accredited surgery close to the Pennines and Yorkshire Dales.

Key Details:

  • Full-time contract: 38-hours per week worked over 4-days
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30am-19:30pm
  • Weekends: 1:3 – Saturday 9:00am-17:30pm and Sunday 10:00am-16:00pm
  • OOH: No
  • Sole Charge: TBC
  • Computer System: RX Works

The Practice:
This accredited RCVS practice delivers exceptional animal care and client services in a state of the art surgery based in Colne, Lancashire. The facilities are purpose-built to industry leading standards and include Doppler ultrasound, digital X-ray and an on-site laboratory. It is staffed by a dedicated and skilled team of professionals who manage a diverse small animal case load within an a busy, expanding practice. The team are highly encouraging of further development and training with CPD and certificates being encouraged.

The Person:
We are looking for a confident and experienced Registered Veterinary Surgeon with good all-round veterinary skills to deliver high-quality animal care and client services as part of a friendly and dedicated team. This opportunity is available on a permanent full-time contract - 38-hours per week worked over 4-days. There is no OOH involved, but you must be able to contribute towards a 1:3 weekend rota, with one long weekend off, to ensure that the team maintains a great work/life balance.

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 2 years’ post-graduate experience in the United Kingdom
