We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s purpose-built small animal practice based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire on a permanent full-time basis.

Key Details:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30am-19:00pm
  • Weekends: 1:3 - Saturday 08:30am-17:00pm only
  • Sole Charge: Yes
  • OOH: No
  • Computer System: RX Works

About the Practice:
This growing small animal practice is based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire and focuses on delivering outstanding client and animal care in a state of the art air-conditioned surgery.

The facilities are purpose built to industry leading standards with equipment including digital X-ray and ultrasound. The practice is staffed by a dynamic, friendly and supportive team of 3 Registered Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and dedicated Receptionists who manage varied medical and surgical cases.

The practice is located near Worksop close to Sheffield and Doncaster. It has easy access to major motorways including the A1 with free parking available on-site.

The Person:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active Registered Veterinary Surgeon who has good all-round general medical skills with some experience in surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with clients and their animals.  

This role is available on a full-time permanent contract with no OOH. You must however must be confident with some sole charge responsibilities and be flexible to contribute towards a 1:3 weekend rota on a Saturday.

  • RCVS registered and qualified
