We are recruiting for 2 Registered Veterinary Surgeons to join a busy and expanding small animal practice in Kendal, Cumbria on a full and part-time contract.   • Permanent full and part-time opportunities
  • Hours: Mixed shifts Monday-Friday between 9:00am-20:00pm
  • Weekends: 1:3 – Saturday 9:00am-18:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-16:00pm
  • Sole Charge: Yes

About the Practice and Team:
This dedicated SA practice provides award-winning animal and client care in a bright, spacious and air-conditioned surgery based in Kendal, Cumbria. It is a purpose-built surgery with state of the art equipment including a dedicated operating theatre, digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, ultrasound and dentistry facilities. It is staffed by a professional and highly-skilled team of veterinary professionals who encourage continuous training and development within a supportive working environment. The team manages a varied medical and surgical SA case load, including some emergency surgery work.

The Person:
We are looking for Registered Veterinary Surgeons with good medical and surgical skills, and ideally some experience in emergency surgery, to assist with a busy SA case load at an respected practice. There is 1 full-time and 1-part-time opportunity available. There is no OOH, but you must be comfortable handling sole charge responsibilities and be flexible to contribute towards a 1:3 weekend rota to ensure that the whole team maintains a great work/life balance.

Must have:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 1-2 years’ post-graduate experience in the United Kingdom
