We have the opportunity for a confident and experienced Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s busy and well-established practice based in Rhuddlan, Denbighshire in Wales on a full or part-time basis. The team is now looking for a Registered Veterinary Surgeon to expand the team due to continued success and growth.

Key Details:

  • Full or part-time considered
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 09:00am-20:00pm
  • Weekends: TBC - Saturday 09:00am-18:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-16:00pm
  • OOH: None
  • Sole Charge: Yes
  • Branch Work: No
  • Computer System: RX Works


About the Practice:
This small animal practice based in Rhuddlan, Denbighshire in Wales and is looking to expand its team further due to continued success and growth. The practice focuses on delivering high-quality patient and client care to a wide variety of cases in an air-conditioned state of the art surgery.

The facilities are purpose built to industry leading standards and include digital X-ray, ultrasound and ultrasonic dental.

This busy and well-established practice is staffed by 2 Registered Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Receptionists and 1 Practice Manager who provide a friendly and supportive working environment whilst delivering outstanding care and services to clients and patients.

The practice benefits from easy access to the A55 with free on-site parking available.


The Person:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Surgeon who is confident in routine surgical procedures to join a passionate and highly-skilled team on a full or part-time permanent basis.  

You must be comfortable with some sole charge responsibilities and have a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service to clients and patients. The skill to develop cases to a high standard and provide accurate and clear documentation or provided services is essential.

There is no OOH involved within this role, but the successful candidate must be willing to contribute to a weekend rota which is to be confirmed.

Must have:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 1+ years’ post-graduate experience in the United Kingdom
