We are looking for a permanent veterinary surgeon to join a friendly practice on the outskirts of Durham. This is a full-time small animal position. The practice is looking for a motivated enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to complement their team of experienced certificate holding veterinary surgeons and newly graduated surgeons. This is a well-established practice with numerous branches across the North East and supported by a Hospital. The practice can offer flexible hours either full or part time.

Key Details:

  • Hours: Full Time
  • Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 6.30pm
  • Weekends: Yes, on a rota
  • Sole charge: Yes, weekends
  • OOH: None
  • Team: Multi Vet and RVN team
  • Branch work: Possible

Person:

The ideal candidate will have good all-round veterinary skills and be polite and conscientious with staff, patients and clients alike. You will be enthusiastic and motivated with a genuine passion for animal welfare. You will be happy to work sole charge if required so therefore confident with routine surgeries and consults.

The practice is very well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, endoscopy, in-house lab, consultation rooms, theatres and wards.

  • Salary - Generous salary based on experience level £30,000.00 -£45,000.00

Must haves:

 

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
