Due to continued expansion in Aylesbury, our client has a unique opportunities for additional Veterinary Surgeons to join an outstanding practice of a multiple Vet practice. The Practice Partner graduated in 2006 from London Vet School became a partner at Aylesbury in 2013.

Key Details:

  • Full or part-time contract considered
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-19:00pm
  • Weekends: 1:4 weekend rota
  • Sole Charge: TBC
  • OOH: No
  • Branch Work: No
  • Computer System: RX Works 

About the Practice:
The surgery is built to industry leading standards, and has state of the art equipment, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house lab and tonopen. The practice also has a keen interest in orthopaedic surgery and so there is plenty of opportunity for you to progress in this area. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a certificate as this is strongly encouraged.

The Person:

You should ideally be a confident surgeon with general and medical skills, capable of working sole charge at times, and with a strong customer-service focus. You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. You will also enjoy a variety of cases and have the ability to work these up to a high standard. Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of our patients. They are also open to receiving applications for newly graduate vets.

The practice is able to consider both part and full time applications and there will be a 1 in 4 weekend rota is included within the hours. You will not be required to work OOH as they have an excellent out-of-hours service provider. 

The Package:

  • Competitive salary between £30,000-£45,000 DOE or pro-rata if part-time

Must have:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 1+ years’ post-graduate experience in the United Kingdom
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
