We are working with a veterinary practice in Cheshire who are looking for a veterinary nurse to join them at their ophthalmology specialist referral hospital. In this role you will work alongside a dedicated team of 9 nurses & 6 Vets to provide high standards of care to all clients. Knowledge of ophthalmology is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Full time (40 hours per week)
- Hours Mon-Fri: Shifts between 8:30am & 6:30pm
- Weekends: 1 in 8 on a rota basis
- Branch Work: None
- Sole Charge: None
- OOH: 1 in 8 on call rota
- Team: 6 Vets & 9 Nurses
This ophthalmology referral hospital is a busy practice with an experience team. They are situated on the edge of a pleasant market town with easy access to Chester, Manchester and Liverpool. The modern practice is equipped with the latest high-tech facilities and allows the team to perform to the best of their abilities.
Ideally you will have some knowledge of referral work and or ophthalmology, however this is not essential as full training is provided. You will need to be a highly motivated, confident veterinary nurse who can work to high standards as well as providing excellent customer service and client care.
