Permanent P/T Veterinary Nurse – Fantastic Working Environment – Hours Negotiable - Very Supportive Practice - Leeds

We are looking for a part-time RVN to be part of brand new venture in the Leeds area – The practice is part of another 3 established branches in the Leeds area and you will only be working at the one branch. This practice has excellent growth potential, and each of the 3 other purpose built practices are well-appointed with an excellent selection of equipment, access to the premises 24 hours a day, separate cat and dog kennelling areas, the great advantage of high visibility and free car parking.

Key Details:

Start: Flexible – Even happy to consider Locum to perm

Hours: Monday to Friday - Hours negotiable

OOH: None

WE: 1 in 3 

Sole Charge %: when working weekends and the odd day in the week

Branch work: None – Although they have 3 other branches that offer full support with certificate holders in Orthopedics etc.

Team: 1 Senior Vet, 1 experienced RVN, Practice manager, 2 Receptionists

The Practice:

They have a bright, spacious and air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards with excellent facilities including lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound, new dental, . They are a growing practice who enjoy a good variety of cases and are happy to help you develop your skills and support areas of special interest. Their staff retention across the other 3 branches is fantastic and they are proud to offer gold standard patient, customer care and to their team members (open door policy, regular meetings etc.)

Personal Specification:

You will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. They are interested in your ideas and ensure plenty of client contact during nurse clinics. As a progressive practice, they strive to provide opportunities to pursue further nursing interests.
