We are working with a modern small animal practice in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire who are currently recruiting for a veterinary surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is full time hours which are worked over 4 days during the week, with 1 in 5 weekends worked. With how the rota is worked, you will often benefit from having 4-day weekends.

Key Details:

  • Full time – 40 hours over 4 days
  • Hours Mon-Fri: 8:30am and 6:30pm
  • Weekends: 1 in 5 Weekends, on call from Friday night til Monday morning with Saturday mornings in practice (8:30am til 11:00am)
  • Computer system: Voyager
  • Sole charge: Only at weekends
  • OOH: 1 night a week on call as well as weekend rota
  • Branch Work: None involved
  • Team: 3 Vets, 5 Nurses & 3 ANA’s

About Them:

This practice has been open since 2017 meaning the boast modern facilities and a clean working environment. They have a high cariology medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic case load and have high quality equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. They have a work hard play hard ethic and ensure they are maintaining a happy team. Ideally located on the East Coast, the area is known for its cheap housing and good schools.

The Person:

They are looking for a veterinary surgeon with a couple of years post graduate experience who can assist the team of vets in handling the busy case load. You must have excellent English skills as well as understand the importance of customer service.

Package:

  • Salary: £35,000-£60,000 dependent of experience
  • 5 Weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

  • RCVS registered and qualified
