We are recruiting a permanent registered nurse position for a practice located in the beautiful area of Truro in Cornwall. The practice has recently been extended and refurbished with brand new equipment. It is located in a fantastic area close to the local beaches some of which are known as the best in the country. It also boasts great transport links to the city Falmouth, Redruth and Plymouth. The practice has an excellent reputation within the local community and regularly get great online reviews.

About the role:

This is a full-time position with a weekend rota of 1:5.

The practice boasts a variety of services and equipment as well as performing more complex surgical cases on site. They comprise of a team of 2 vets and 2 RVNS with one of the veterinary surgeons holding a certificate in surgery.  They also have visiting certificate holding veterinary surgeons to the RVN is exposed to even more complex cases. They are recruiting an enthusiastic forward-thinking veterinary nurse who is able to work well as part of a team but also independently and make decisions and problem solve. The practice ethos is that nurses play a vital role and are utilised fully in nurse clinics, clinical coaching, surgery and medical nursing meaning that each and every individual can reach their full potential and develop their skill set and knowledge. The practice supports CPD and certificate training is also encouraged and supported.
