We are recruiting a permanent small animal veterinary nurse to join a practice in the beautiful area of Newton Abbot Devon. This is an award-winning family run practice. The role is full time however part time applications will be considered. There is only a 1:5/6 weekend rota and occasional sole charge with the veterinary surgeon. A flexible rota meaning an excellent working / life balance.  

About the role:

The practice is located in a beautiful location close to beaches and the countryside whilst also being close to the city of Exeter, so it offers a fantastic lifestyle. The practice has a team of 4 vets, 5 RVNs and a support team. They require an experienced veterinary nurse with good general nursing skills along with excellent customer facing skills, friendly and who has a genuine passion for animal welfare.

Key Details:

  • Type: Small Animal
  • Hours: Monday – Friday Full or part time hours available  
  • Weekends: 1:5/6 Weekend rota for full time, 1:2 for part time    
  • OOH: None
  • Sole Charge: Occasional with the vet
  • Computer System: RX Works
  • Consultations: 10 Minutes
  • Team: 4 Vet 5 RVN and support team
