Are you looking for a hands-on practice to kick start your veterinary career at? We are working with a group of 3 small practices in West Dorset who are looking for a new graduate veterinary surgeon to join their team. They are keen to offer support to the right candidate who is looking for a structured learning programme.

Key Details:

  • Full time (40 hours per week)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am til 6:00pm
  • Weekends: 1 in 4 Weekend rota
  • Branch Work: Minimal
  • Sole Charge: None
  • OOH: 1 Night a week on a rota
  • Computer System: Merlin
  • Team: 5 Vets working over 3 sites

The Practice:

This practice is independent, non-corporate, graduate friendly and tier 2 RCVS accredited with modern, purpose-built facilities with onsite physiotherapy and hydrotherapy as well as other fantastic equipment. The main surgery is in a beautiful town just 15 minutes from the Jurassic coastline as well as being near to transport links into London, Exeter and Poole.

The Person:

You will need to be a naturally warm and empathetic person who is self-motivated and dedicated but also brings a sense of fun too. You will be keen to get a hands-on experience with a mixed practice and thrive under excellent coaching support. You must be able show flair, whilst remaining patient, flexible and adaptable.
