Permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon - Full Time – East Yorkshire

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon, who can work well in sole charge with support from multiple Veterinary Nurses.

The role is split between two local practices in East Yorkshire and will include 70% small animal, 15% large animal and 15% equine. An important part of the role is to perform calving and cow caesareans and you must be confident to take lead of the team during this.

The practices host a wealth of state-of-the-art facilities, such as full in-house laboratory, haematology, biochemistry, microscopy, urinalysis, ultrasound, digital radiography, ECG, bloody pressure monitor, endoscopy and bronchoscopy. This practice focuses on a work life balance and boast a prestigious reputation which has been established for over 70 years.

Key Details:

  • Full time: 40 hours
  • Mon – Fri: 8.30am – 6.45pm
  • Weekends 3/6:

Weekend 1 – Saturday morning surgery

Weekend 2 – Saturday morning surgery, Saturday on call, Sunday back up on call

Weekend 3 – Saturday morning surgery, Saturday back up on call, Sunday on call

  • OOH: 1 night on call per week
  • Sole charge: Required
  • Branch work: Split between Beverley & Hornsea

Salary Package:
