A small animal practice in Warwickshire are recruiting a head veterinary surgeon with the potential of the role progressing further into a clinical director. This is a full-time position with no OOH and a 1:4 weekends
- Hours: Monday – Friday - 4 days per week
- Weekends: 1:4 Weekends.

This is a forward-thinking practice boasting an orthopaedic referral service, CT Scanner, Laparoscopic surgery and a hydrotherapy unit. The practice also has 2 AVPS with certificate sin small animal surgery. Certificates are encouraged and funded. There are 4 vets currently working towards certificates - one in medicine cardiology and ECC which makes for a team of vets with diverse interests enabling the applicant to develop their skill and knowledge set further.
You will be a forward-thinking highly motivated surgeon who can manage and lead a team of vets and nurses. Previous experience in either a supportive / mentoring or leadership role would be advantageous. You must be confident in maintaining high clinical standards and delivering an excellent service to the clients. Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport building skills with clients is essential. You will be confident in all areas of routine surgery.
The practice boasts a full range of diagnostic equipment’s with ultrasound, blood machines, digital x ray, dental x-ray, tonometry, slit lamp and laser. It is a bright and spacious practice with all modern facilities.
- Salary - £35,000 - £55,000 pro rata
