An exciting opportunity has arisen in our client's established 100% small animal practice based in Slough. They are seeking an enthusiastic vet to join their friendly team on a full time basis, and help to transform the practice. They are located close to the train station ideal for direct routes to & from London as well being on the doorstep of the M4.
The ideal candidate will have great general/medical skills and experience of emergency surgery is essential! You will be required to work some weekends on an equal rota basis and, therefore, must be confident with sole charge.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to take the next steps in their career. We are ideally looking for a vet with at least 1 years’ experience that can lead from the front, but will have support and guidance both surgically and medically, to offer the highest standard of care to patients.
You will have good general surgical and medical skills with experience of working up cases to a high standard. An interest in exotics or imaging would be a bonus.
This role plays a key part within a small, friendly team, so the ideal candidate will need to be adaptable, flexible and a good team player.
- Salary - £30,000 -£50,000 DOE or Pro Rata if part time

By joining this practice you will become part of a supportive established team of 7 people (2 Vets, 1 RVN, 2 Trainee Nurses and 2 Care Assistants). The whole team is dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care.
The surgery is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards with state of the art equipment including in house labs, digital x-ray, anaesthetic multiparamter monitor units and separate hospital wards for Cats and Dogs.
RCVS registered and qualified
Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
Excellent communication skills
Min 1+ year’s post grad UK experience
