A small animal practice in Bishop Auckland are recruiting for either a clinical director or an experienced veterinary surgeon to lead their team. You must have minimum 2 years post graduate experience. Room to aspire to become clinical director is beneficial. The role would be working across the 3 branches with a large multi vet team and RVN and support staff.

Key Details:

  • Type: Small Animal         
  • Hours: Monday – Friday between 8am and 8pm  40 Hours per week
  • Weekends: 1:6
  • Lieu: 2 days off during the week when worked a weekend
  • OOH:  None
  • Sole charge: Some
  • Branch work: Yes 3
  • Team: Multiple Vet and RVN team with support staff
  • Other: Accommodation can be provided if relocating as there is a flat above the practice

About You:

  • You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
  • You will need to be at least 2 -year post qualification
  • You must be a team player with good communication skills
  • You will have good general surgical skill
  • Confident with consultations  
  • Confident with sole charge work

Package:

  • Salary: £35,000 – £55,000 DOE     
  • Holiday allowance: 4 weeks in the first year plus bank holidays then goes to 5 weeks in year 2
