We are recruiting for a permanent full or part time veterinary surgeon to join a team in Hove. This is a 2 vet, 3 RVN and support team who are committed to providing a high standard of veterinary care. they are looking for a flexible vet who is a good team player. Ideally this is a full-time role with 40 hours per week with a 1:3 weekend with time off in lieu during the week after working a weekend. There are no ooh. This is a well-established purpose-built practice with a large client base. they see a variety of cases from exotics to small furry animals. The role would suit an experienced surgeon who has excellent communication skills and a positive team player attitude. The location is ideal within easy reach of trains into London and just a short distance from Brighton.

  • Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 7pm
  • Weekends: 1:4 Saturday 9am – 5pm Sunday 11am – 4.30pm
  • Sole Charge: Yes, weekends  
  • OOH: None

  • Consultations: 10 Minutes
  • Team: 2 Vet 3 RVN and support team

About You:

  • You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
  • You will be confident in all areas of routine surgeries and medical cases
  • You ideally will have experience in emergency surgeon
  • Previous experience in a lead role would be advantageous but not essential.
  • You will want to contribute to the practice enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
  • You will be a strong team player
