An exciting opportunity has arisen in an independent first opinion practice for a permanent veterinary surgeon to join their team in Aberdeen. The practice are able to offer flexible working hours between 20 and 40 per week for the right candidate.  This is a progressive practice and prides itself on world class veterinary care. They are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon who is looking to expand their skill set and experience further to support their large client base.

Key Details:

  • Type: Small Animal         
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 8pm
  • Weekends: On a rota Saturday 9am – 6pm Sunday 10am – 5pm
  • OOH: No  
  • Sole charge: Yes
  • Branch work: No
  • Computer System: RX Works
  • Team: 2 Vet 2 RVN and support team

About You:

  • You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
  • You will have a good level of experience in a 1st Opinion practice.
  • You will be confident in all routine surgeries.
  • You will be confident in sole charge work
  • You will be an experienced forward-thinking veterinary surgeon
  • You will be willing to work in a fun yet busy practice
  • You will have good surgical experience and comfortable working autonomously
  • You will have previous experience in a busy practice and an awareness of what contributes to practice profitability

  • Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
