Our clients based in Devon are looking for a veterinary surgeon with dairy farm and small animal interests to join their large, experienced team. They are open to speaking with veterinary surgeons of all levels, including new graduates.

Key Details:

  • Full time
  • Hours: TBC on interview (Flexible)
  • OOH: Some may be required (Flexible to work around you)
  • Sole charge: None
  • Branch Work: Yes, covering the local area
  • Team: 17 Farm Vets, 10 Small animal vets, 20 nurses & more over 4 local branches
  • Extra – Regular long weekends with Thursday to Monday off

About Them:

Their RCVS accredited practices have modern facilities and all the usual diagnostic tools such as digital X-ray, endoscopes, Ultrasound, ECG and more. On the Farm side they are also RCVS accredited practice and dairy focused, but they do have beef and sheep clients to care for too. The team includes certificate holders and others working towards post graduate qualifications. They meet as a team regularly to discuss clinical and other issues and all new graduates have a clinical club within the practice.

The Person:

You will enjoy clinical freedom with areas of special interest encouraged and will be actively supported in your development. Ideally you will have interests in farm & small animals as you will see a mixture throughout your role. You will also need to have high levels of customer service skills as well as being able to communicate freely with team members and clients alike.
