We are recruiting for a permanent full-time equine ambulatory veterinary surgeon for a well-established multi branch practice in the beautiful location of Dorset. This is a full-time role with the OOH shared equally with two days off given for the weekends worked. This practice is in a beautiful area of Dorset countryside close to the coast.

The practice has been supplying the local community in Dorset for more than 80 Years! They have dedicated surgeons for both small animal, equine and farm animal. They boast a fantastic reputation and are well known for their support and continuity of care. Their equine team comprises of 5 dedicated vets. They are recruiting for this role due to a senior member of staff retiring. They are looking for a motivated surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and has excellent customer facing skills. Whilst support if offered the practice encourages vets to work up their own cases and sees it through from start to finish. This role is ambulatory with leisure horses, stud work and some commercial yards. They boast an excellent equine outpatient clinic for diagnostics and have facilities for minor surgical operations.
They are looking for a friendly confident and motivated Equine vet with experience. You must be excellent with establishing working relationships with clients and committed to providing a high standard of care. Support is provided for the right applicant.
The boast a range of equipment from digital radiography, digital ultrasound for fertility, musculoskeletal and abdominal imaging, gastroscope and dental equipment.
- Salary: £35,000 - £55,000
