Key Details:

  • Full/Part time
  • Hours: 40 per week – 6:45pm– 8.00am
  • Computer System: RX Works
  • OOH: 1 to 5 nights available depending on your preference
  • Sole Charge: Some - working alongside an RVN, VCA and Receptionist

About them:

By Joining this practice, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing a superb standard of client and animal care. The animal loving team in the practice always put pets first and provide world class clinical care within their community. They are looking for someone to join a team comprising of two OOH Vets and 3 OOH Nurses and a wider team of 8 Vets, 10 RVN’s, 6 Student nurses, 2 Veterinary care assistant, 7 receptionists and a practice manager. Due to the wealth of experience and expertise within the team, the practice performs advanced procedures in-house and refer very few cases. They will consider full and part time hours which is a combination of first opinion and emergency work. Previous experience ECC experience although highly desirable is not essential as full training will be given.


The ideal candidate will join a professional team and should possess a good level of general nursing skills, and great customer service experience, along with being cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.


They have a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including an operating theatre, Isolation unit, In-house laboratory, cat and dog hospital ward and facilities for ECG, Endoscopy, Tonopen, Echocardiography and in-house blood transfusions.

Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 1+ years’ post-grad UK experience
