Our Client based in Stamford Bridge, York is looking for an experienced, confident, and outgoing Veterinary Surgeon to begin working with them in May / June ongoing. You will have strong all-round skills and confidence with routine surgery

 

Start: May / June 2018

Finish: Ongoing

Rate: £240 - £300 DOE

Hours, On a rota from 8am - 7pm on a 4 or 5 day week

WE Hours/Rota: 1 in 5 Saturday rota - 8am to 1pm along with on call from 7pm Friday through to 8am Monday with time of in lieu

OOH Rota: 1 night per week - 7pm to 8am - RVN on call at all times - No phones.  

Sole Charge: Limited - When on call with an RVN

Computer system: Robovet

Branch Work: Possible, but mainly at the one branch 

Team: 10  vets, 1 Clinical Director, 15 RVNs – across 4 sites

Accommodation/Allowance: On site practice flats available for sole use

Vehicle: N/A

Pets Allowed: Yes

Facilities: Stand-alone clinic with comprehensive facilities such as theatre, cat and dog kennels, X-rays and biochemistry lab and they are a VN training practice and much more

Must haves:

 

RCVS registered and qualified

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Excellent communication skills

1 years’ post-grad UK experience
