Hours, Mon-Fri: Opening Times – 8:30am – 18:45pm – Must be able to work OOH (although flexible)
WE Hours/Rota: Some on an equal rota - 8:30am - 12:00noon (on call for some w/e, again)
OOH Rota: Some – on an equal rota
Sole Charge: Yes
Branch work: Yes, 1 main surgery and 1 branch practice
Computer system: TBC
The Practice: Mixed Animal – 70% SA and 30% Farm (including Farm/Equine)
Team: High-calibre team of experienced Veterinary Professionals - 8 Vets, 1PM , 2 RVNs, 6 Aux
Accommodation: Available - Flat above the practice
Vehicle: Available, if required!
Facilities: Ultrasound, Radiography, Operating suite, Dentistry, Obstetrics
Culture: Lovely Tier 2 – Mixed Animal practice with sister branch a short distance away, both have a long-established, hardworking team of enthusiastic vets and nurses providing excellent veterinary care and customer service.
The Person: Confident SA or MA animal vet who has a wealth of surgical and medical experience – ideally in calving, performing Caesarean’s and some Equine, Although happy to consider candidate's with SA experience. Hard-working and skilled individual, a team player who is client and care orientated
RCVS registered and qualified
Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Excellent communication skills
Minimum 1 years' post-grad UK experience
