Start date: August
End Date: Ongoing - Ideally they would like to build into the locum agreement that they could give one month’s notice if/when they find a permanent vet.
Hours – Mon – Fri: 08.45 - 18.30
Weekend rota/hours: 1:5 (note this would only be Friday to 21.00 and Saturday to 17.00 - no Sunday OOH. After these times their emergency cover moves to another provider)
OOH rota/Hours: One evening a week. 18.30 - 21.00 only
Time of in lieu: One day off each week.
Sole Charge: Ideally yes, sole charge at one of our branch sites (Steyning) for 2/3 days a week
Computer system: Vetspace (Jupiter)
Branch work: As per answer re sole charge.
Team: 6 vets and 10 nurses – Some very experienced in surgery and ultra sound etc
Accommodation details: Accommodation could be arranged close to the practice (holiday cottage/apartment etc)
Other: Even if working at a branch site, you would have the opportunity of returning to the main site each day to perform some surgery if this is what you like to do. Depending on ability you could be the 'operating vet' for the whole day at the main site.
