We are looking for an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established and progressive practice in Oldham, Greater Manchester on a full-time permanent basis. The team is looking for a confident Lead Veterinary Surgeon to drive clinical standards, develop new opportunities and support commercial development. - Weekends: 1:3 - Saturday 9:00am-18:00pm and Sunday 11:00am-17:00pm

This progressive SA practice provides a high-standard of animal and client care in a bright, spacious and air-conditioned surgery based in Oldham, Greater Manchester. It is a purpose-built surgery with state of the art equipment including X-ray, ultrasound, haematology, BP, ECG, operating theatre and in-house laboratory facilities. It is staffed by a professional and highly-skilled team of veterinary professionals who encourage full work up on cases and continuous training and development within a supportive working environment.
The practice is in a great location with direct access to public transport links and main motorways networks including the M62. There is also parking available on-site.
We are looking for an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon with a keen interest in medicine to join a busy and progressive practice. You will demonstrate good general surgical and diagnostic skills to complete full work up on SA cases to compliment the current Vet team who have special interests in orthopaedics. Our client is looking for a confident Lead Veterinary Surgeon to drive clinical standards, develop new opportunities and support commercial development within the practice. This opportunity is being offered with the potential to become a business partner or owner of the practice is the future.
This position is available on a permanent full-time contract covering 40-hours per week. There is no OOH involved, but you must be confident managing some sole charge responsibilities and contribute towards a 1:3 weekend rota to ensure that the whole team maintains a good work/life balance.
