Join our clients family and lead our friendly and well-established practice situated in the Village of Welton a short drive from the city of Lincoln.

The practice is long established and has a lovely client base, the well-equipped branch has state of the art facilities including K-Laser therapy, digital x-ray and ultrasound.

We are seeking a full time experienced and motivated Vet who can work sole charge. The successful candidate must have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically, and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. Career progression is actively promoted and partnership opportunities are available for the right candidate.

  • Hours: Mon-Fri – 9am-6pm Saturday – 9am-12pm

About them:

Dearne Valley is a purpose built veterinary hospital offers a safe and secure working environment in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Dearne Valley referrals is located near to Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley and is easily accessible for travelling referral cases from the A1M or M!

Person:

The ideal applicant would be a diplomat in internal medicine who is able to lead our recently established Internal Medicine Referral Service. There are also Orthopaedic, Soft Tissue and Clinical Nutrition referral services offered from the premises. As a 24 hour referral hospital there is always a Vet and Nurse on site to look after hospitalized cases. 

Facilities:

Dearne Valley has very good facilities including a new set of endoscopes, a new ultrasound machine with echocardiography, on site radiography, a new CT being installed and a visiting MRI service. In addition to the advantages of being able to plan the facilities such as the imaging suite and operating theatres from scratch, the chosen site has plenty of parking space for staff and clients and room to expand!

Package & Benefits

  • Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
  • Accommodation: Up to £12,000
  • Vehicle - £2500 allowance
  • Fees: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid, BSAVA fees paid for New Graduates
  • CPD: £1500 per annum plus 3 days off, with extra certificate funding;
