An excellent opportunity has arisen within a very reputable practice based in Somerset, who are seeking an enthusiastic full time SA Vet to join their excellent team.

Our client’s modern and progressive practice has established an excellent customer service and first-class pet care. This practice needs a team player who wants to progress their career within a busy environment. The team is made up of friendly, outgoing, and supportive veterinary professionals, creating an excellent work environment.

Key Details:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday ​09:00am – 19:00pm – over 4-day week
  • Weekends: 1: 6 WE on a flexible rota
  • Salary: Competitive Salary DOE
  • OOH: 1 night on call per fortnight

The team at this practice is a hard-working, proactive, and driven made up of several full-time vets, several full and part time RVN’s and excellent support staff. By joining this practice, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing a superb standard of client and animal care. This is a team and practice that are keen to support staff in the careers!


The successful candidate will be a forward thinking, passionate and ambitious, with excellent communication skills and strong
all-round veterinary skills. Will be fully competent in surgery and consultations at 1st opinion practice level and comfortable with sole charge. 


The practice offers a modern, well equipped environment that has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and all the toys, including orthopaedic kit!

Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
