We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to come and join our client's friendly team at Kirkby-in-Ashfield. They’re conveniently situated just off the M1, within easy reach of various amenities. Nottingham is also close by for shopping and nightlife!

Key Details:

  • Full or part-time contract considered
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-19:00pm
  • Weekends: 1:3 weekends on a rota basis

About the Practice:

The practice owners, Julie, a 2011 Nottingham graduate and Claire RVN, 11 years qualified, lead the supportive and close knit team of 1.5 Vets, 3 RVNs 1 SVN and 2 Receptionists. The position is available due to the continued growth of this progressive practice, so this is a great time to come on-board!

The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including Digital x-ray, ultrasound.

The Person:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon, ideally for 40 hours per week although they can be flexible depending on your circumstances. There will be 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis but no OOH! You will be an all-round Small Animal Vet who is confident in routine surgical and clinical procedures.

They encourage good case development and offer an excellent CPD package, they are happy to consider funding a certificate for the right candidate.

The Package:

  • Competitive salary between £30,000-£45,000 DOE or pro-rata if part-time

Must have:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 1+ years’ post-graduate experience in the United Kingdom
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
