We are recruiting for a skilled and knowledgeable Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly experienced team of professionals at a well-established small animal practice based in Bridgend, South Wales on a permanent full or part-time contract.

Key Details:

  • Full or part-time contract considered
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-19:00pm
  • Weekends: 1:4 – Saturday 9:00am-17:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-15:00pm
  • Branch Work: No
  • Sole Charge: TBC
  • OOH: No
  • Computer System: RX Works

The Practice:
This successful practice provides the highest standards of veterinary care and service to animals and clients in a state of the art surgery based in Bridgend, South Wales. The facilities are purpose-built to industry leading standards and include a dedicated hospital ward and isolation unit, dentistry equipment, doppler ultrasound, digital X-ray and an in-house biochemistry lab machines.

The practice is approximately a 30-minute commute from Cardiff with easy access to the M4. There is also free on-site parking available.
 

The Person:

Offering great facilities and a wide and varied caseload, this position will suit an experienced and knowledgeable Vet Surgeon with a solid track record for working to the highest of standards.

Being able to demonstrate a strong level of communication and organisational skills, you will be able to juggle everyday procedures with people & practice management.  Ideally, a Vet that can fulfil a full time rota is preferred, however less hours can potentially be accommodated. There is weekend work on a rota basis and there is no OOH.

Must have:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 1+ years post-graduate experience in the United Kingdom
