We are currently recruiting for an experienced, skilled Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice mixed animal veterinary practice based in Leicester.

The practice is well-equipped with Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, in-house laboratory, ECG to name but a few!

About you:

You need to be a good team player and possess excellent communication skills and be keen to act as a mentor for other vets. 

Type : Days

Start:   30th April 2018

Finish: 1st June 2018

Hours, Mon-Fri: 8:30am – 6:30pm

WE Hours/Rota:  Saturday morning (rota) x 2 vets - 8:30am – 12:30pm (Vet who is on call overnight and the vet on call Sat/Sun w/e

OOH Rota: 1 weekday night on call (1:5) – if Friday night then Sat am consults too
                    Full Saturday/Sunday on call (1:5) then full day off on following Tuesday

Sole Charge: Some

Branch work: None

Accommodation:  Available if required

Culture: 60% SA and 40% Farm, no Equine. Very experienced, hardworking friendly team!

The Person: Ideally 2+ years UK experience

Must haves:

RCVS registered and qualified
Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Excellent communication skills
2+ years UK experience
