An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s busy practice based in Reading, Berkshire. Reading boasts an abundance of shops, restaurants and has fantastic transport links to other towns and cities all across the UK, specifically London.
Ideally, you must have minimum 1-3 years' post-graduate UK experience, and possess a supportive and caring nature, excellent communication skills and a keen surgical interest at all times delivering high levels of client and patient care. The successful candidate will be working alongside, two highly experienced vets and long established team of nurses.
Hours: 45 per week – Mon – Fri: 8:00am – 7:00pm
W/E: Sat: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Facilities: In-house laboratory, Orthopaedic theatre, Operating theatre, X-ray, separate dog and cat wards
Package Salary range: Competitive DOE
Fees: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
Accommodation or allowance: £9,000 depending on location
Vehicle or Allowance: £2500
CPD: £1500 per annum plus 3 days of
Pension: Company pension scheme

RCVS registered and qualified
