We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to join a small and dedicated team in a friendly practice based in Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire.  Newark is an attractive market town situated along the river Trent enjoying excellent transport links.

Ideally, you must have minimum 1 years’ post-graduate UK experience, a supportive and caring nature and excellent communication skills. You will be competent, approachable and a first-rate veterinary surgeon.

Key Details:

Hours: Approx 45 per week – Mon – Fri: 8:30am – 6:30pm 4 days per week
W/E: 1:5 (until 12noon)
OOH: Some
Branch: None
Facilities: Purpose-built, modern building which houses two prep rooms, three consult rooms, one theatre and much more!

Package Salary range: £40,000 DOE 

Fees: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
Accommodation or allowance: Up to £12,000 – depending on location
Vehicle or Allowance:  £2500
CPD: £1500 per annum plus 3 days CPD leave, with extra certificate funding;
Pension: Company pension scheme

Must haves:

RCVS registered and qualified
Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
Excellent communication skills
Minimum 1+ year's post grad experience
